Its superconducting transition critical temperature is 15.6 K. Insoluble in hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and sulfuric acid; Soluble in hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid concentrated solution, also soluble in hot base or high concentration of alkaline, and release ammonia.
As a carbide additive, high purity niobium can also be obtained. When heated to 500 ~ 800℃ in air, niobium pentoxide is formed and nitrogen is released. Niobium nitride is decomposed into niobium metal in vacuum. Niobium nitride and titanium carbide, zirconium carbide, vanadium carbide, tantalum oxide, etc. can form a solid solution.
Typical B-1 compounds. Sodium chloride crystal structure. The critical temperature of superconductivity is 17.3K. The upper critical magnetic field is 43T. The critical current density Jc, (4.2K, 20T) is up to 2×106A/cm2. High thermal stability and chemical stability, anti-neutron irradiation, excellent superconducting thin film materials. The mixture of argon and nitrogen was prepared by sputtering method. It is used to manufacture highly stable superconducting quantum instrument devices and electrode materials.
